Using Your Degree
Successful sales professionals are well compensated, well respected by their peers and are often top candidates for advancement within their companies. And they're well positioned for success.
People who have what it takes to succeed in sales — technical acumen, negotiating abilities, computer skills and self-motivation — are in high demand. Over the next decade, the need for experienced sales managers is expected to outpace the average job growth for other careers, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Our alumnae have found rewarding sales and business careers in many industries, including: transportation, technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, medical products and many others. Some of our outstanding alumnae include:
- Seon Anderson, account manager at W.W. Grainger
- Jenna Bowman, public policy intern at the Alzheimer's Association
- Kelly Minke, sales consultant at Paychex Inc.
- Nicole Sheedy, strategic sales account manager at Delta Air Lines
- Jennifer VanWinkle, territory sales manager at Ecolab

Our students have been accepted at advanced degree programs locally, nationally and around the world, including the University of Minnesota, William Mitchell College of Law, Harvard and the London School of Economics.
