This live activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Minnesota and St. Catherine’s University.

American Medical Association/Physician Recognition Award  The University of Minnesota is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Minnesota designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: The University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Office of Practice, Partnerships, and Professional Development, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.  This activity will be awarded up to 5.75 contact hours.

Social Workers:  Minnesota Board of Social Work application is in process.

Minnesota Board of Social Work: The course has been approved by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work for 5.75 continuing education hours.

Other Healthcare Professionals: 
Other Healthcare Professionals who participate in this CEE activity may submit their Statements of Attendance to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education in their discipline.
