The Society of American Archivists (SAA), St. Catherine University Student Chapter was founded in January of 2014 and had its first official meeting on Thursday, February 27.
The SAA student chapter is affiliated with the Society of American Archivists, a national organization devoted to promoting the values and diversity of archives and archivists. Our mission is to increase awareness about the archival profession, promote communication between students and local professional organizations, and offer opportunities for professional development through coordinating events and other activities related to archives.
Membership in the organization is open to all students currently enrolled at St. Catherine University and is free to join. If you would like more information, please attend one of our upcoming meetings or email the student chapter at firstname.lastname@example.org.

All meetings will be from 5–6pm in room CdC 20 in the Coeur de Catherine building on the Saint Paul Campus of St. Catherine University unless otherwise noted.
