The Student Senate meets every Tuesday from 12:00-1:15 p.m. in the Rauenhorst Ballroom, 3rd floor, Coeur de Catherine or in the Student Organization Center, 2nd floor, Coeur de Catherine

The National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE) series constitutes  the leading and most comprehensive national forum on issues of race and ethnicity in American higher education. The conference focuses on the complex task of creating and sustaining comprehensive institutional change designed to improve racial and ethnic relations on campus and  to expand opportunities for educational access and success by culturally diverse, traditionally underrepresented populations."

As of May 2008, the Student Senate at the St. Catherine University has been funding students to attend the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE).Students who attend the conference have met well-known writers and activists such as Angela Davis, Peggy McIntosh, Michelle Alexander and Tim Wise, just to name a few. In order to qualify for funding, students are required to provide a detailed response to the questions in the Funding Application as well as submit a resume, which exemplifies their leadership and involvement in activities that benefit the diverse community at St. Catherine University.
