During a semester there are 4 or 5 Primary Seminars from invited guests, faculty members or invited alumnae. These primary seminars will often directly relate to upper level course material or have Biology alumnae sharing their experiences with other Biology students and the greater St Catherine University community.
Primary Seminars are still held alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon - 1 p.m. in Mendel 106 or 101 so please check the updated schedule for the current semesters' calendar or the door of the Biology Lounge for current seminar posters. Updated lists are posted monthly.
Biology students who participated in an internship opportunity or who conducted scientific research present their experiences and findings at an end of the semester Biology Research Symposium.
