Internships and Research

Learning occurs in the community. St. Kate's has an active career development office, a strong alumnae network and expert faculty to help you find internships.

Recent internship sites include:

Research opportunities at St. Kate's include:

  • Antonian Scholars Honors Program
  • Antonian Scholars complete a project as the final step in St. Kate's rigorous honors program. These include plays, website development and research papers.
  • Assistantship Mentoring Program
  • AMP pairs juniors and seniors with faculty or staff mentors on specific projects. Student Hannah Meacock helped Professor Nancy Heitzeg to evaluate the diversity content of two St. Kate's courses.

Other opportunities to enhance your knowledge or skills:

  • Monthly discussion series
    St. Kate's Abigail Quigley McCarthy Center for Women hosts the Women's Studies and CRST monthly discussion series to share current research, such as "Feminist Art History: History and Practice."
  • Co-curricular activities
    St. Kate's has more than 50 campus organizations, including the Asian Women's Association, Black Student Association, Muslim Student Association and People Respecting Identity Differences and Equality.
