St. Kate's has an active career development office, a strong alumnae network and expert faculty to help you find internships. These learning experiences are available throughout the Twin Cities at publishing companies, major corporations and nonprofit institutions.

At St. Kate's you can partner with professors on original research projects that are presented at professional meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. English major Shunu Shrestha, for example, studied the representation of women in the Nepali language with Professor Joanne Cavallaro.
Our English majors have also presented at the Southwest Asia Conference, the National Conference on Undergraduate Research and Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities' annual English majors' conference.
Assistantship Mentoring Program (AMP)
AMP is an innovative, paid experience that pairs St. Kate's students in their junior or senior year with faculty or staff mentors on a specific project. St. Kate's has the Antonian Scholar Honors Program and more than 24 honors societies, including Delta Phi Lambda for creative writing students. Learn more »

English Club activities include monthly meetings, social outings to movies and plays, and literary events on campus or around the Twin Cities. You also have the opportunity to read or share your work publicly.
