How to Apply to Evening/Weekend/Online at St. Kate's

We welcome your application to get started in Evening/Weekend/Online at St. Kate's in Fall (classes start in September), Spring (classes start in February), or Summer (classes start in June) terms.

Apply now to start in Spring 2016. Classes begin the week of February 1st.

Choose the option from the list below that best describes your situation to be directed to the applicable application instructions.

Starting your first bachelor's or a certificate

Follow the steps below to apply to the Evening/Weekend/Online program to pursue your first bachelor's degree or a certificate.

Admission requirements

To be considered for admission, you must have graduated from an accredited high school or have earned a General Education Development (GED) diploma. If your previous academic record indicates past difficulty or if you have never taken a college course, you may be asked to provide additional information or to participate in a personal interview.

When to apply

We recommend that you submit all application materials at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the term — Fall, Spring or Summer — to allow enough time to process your application.

After being admitted you will receive your official transcript evaluation and financial aid award and be permitted to register.

Application process

Follow the 3 simple steps below to complete the application process.

1) Complete your online application form

Complete the online application form or request that we mail a paper copy to you.

2) Submit application fee

Send a non-refundable application fee of $25 (check or money order payable to St. Catherine University) to the Office of Evening/Weekend/Online Admission. (The application fee is waived if you have previously attended an information session, met with an admission counselor, or taken courses previously at St. Kate's.)

3) Request transcripts

Request that official transcripts from all schools, colleges, universities, technical schools, training programs, armed forces, etc., that you have attended or currently attend, be sent to Evening/Weekend/Online Admission.
Transcripts are required for all institutions you have attended, regardless of completion of course work.

Contact the registrar or records office of each school of college, and request that "official transcripts" be sent directly to St. Kate's. At most colleges and universities, requests can be made online.

If you have completed any portion of your education outside of the United States, translation and/or evaluation of transcripts may be required. Please allow extra time for this process (up to nine months in some cases).
