Support for EveningWeekend|Online Students

If you're like many adults thinking about returning to college, the thought of going back or starting from scratch may seem daunting. But don’t worry — there are plenty of people to help and support you along the way. St. Kate’s offers many services to help you, as an adult Evening/Weekend/Online student, reach your goals.

Academic support

First and foremost, we want to help you succeed in your courses. Worried about writing a paper or taking a math or science class? Worry no more — the O’Neill Center for Academic Development offers tutors and other resources to help you. The O’Neill Center also coordinates academic accommodations for students with disabilities.

Academic advising

Every student should have an academic road map to know which courses to take and when. That’s where our academic advisers can help. Providing services and one-on-one attention to new and returning students, academic advisers are available to answer questions and guide you through your time here at St. Kate’s. Student-parent resources

Do you have children? The University can offer you resources as a student-parent. Our Access and Success program coordinates support and programming for students with kids.

Flexible payment options

In addition to financial aid, St. Kate’s gives you options for paying for college over time. The Student Accounts office will help you set up a payment plan or assist with tuition reimbursement you may receive through your employer.

Career development

Need help deciding what to do after graduation or coordinating an internship? Look to further than the Career Development office. Providing services like career counseling, aptitude testing and interest inventories, workshops and job placement assistance, career planning begins as soon as you enroll at St. Kate’s.

Campus amenities

Aside from your academic pursuits, you can take advantage of all of the benefits of being a student at St. Kate’s. E/W/O students can work out at the Butler Center for Sports and Fitness, take advantage of our library resources or get involved with Campus Ministry or Multicultural and International Programs and Services Office.

Getting involved

Are you looking to get involved as a E|W|O student? Consider attending an Evening|Weekend|Online Student Advisory Board meeting, held once per month. This group serves as the voice of E|W|O students, in addition to planning social gatherings the board acts as a liaison between E|W|O undergraduate students and the College’s administration.
