The master's degree option consists of 30 credits of structured courses and nine credits in which you'll design your own learning plan from a variety of options. With the help pof your advisor, you'll develop a focused area of study that allows you to define your direction. You'll also have opportunities for independent study and in-depth research so you can customize your learning. The program can be completed in two-and-a-half years, but you may choose to spend more time to immerse yourself in your studies.
The graduate certificate option consists of 12 credits, which may be completed in only one academic year.
Course meeting times and location
Designed for adult learning, courses meet nights and weekends on St. Catherine University's Minneapolis campus. The campus, just outside of downtown Minneapolis is at the heart of a vibrant urban community where alternative and complementary therapies are a growing part of a dynamic healthcare system.
Most courses generally meet one evening per week from 6-9:30 p.m. Some courses may meet in intensive weekend sessions, once or twice each semester.
Courses are held in fall semester (September-December) and spring semester (February-May). January term courses are also offered, with concentrated evening meetings.
