Participants in Leaders of the New Millennium program can choose to earn three graduate credits through St. Catherine's Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program. Additional academic work, including a research paper, is required for students seeking to take the program for graduate credit.
When you register for the Leaders of the New Millennium program and select the graduate credit option, you will automatically be registered for ORLD 7893: Leaders of the New Millennium. This course will be recorded on your permanent St. Catherine University transcript for the term in which you complete the course.
If taking this program for graduate credit a faculty advisor will be assigned to you due to the additional academic work. You will also have access to all St. Catherine University resources available to other enrolled students, such as athletic facilities, the library, and student events.
To qualify for graduate credit you must:
> Be a current MAOL student: To be accepted as a non-degree student in the MAOL program, you need to have completed a baccalaureate degree with at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 ('B') and have a minimum of two years of professional work experience. If you are an MAOL graduate, reapply to reactivate your records.
> Apply as a non-degree-seeking student: You must submit the Non-Degree Application for Graduate Study form (contact the Office of Graduate Admission for a copy), a current résumé and an official transcript from the institution that granted your bachelor's degree.
Submit all application materials no later than two weeks after the retreat. Final permission to register for a course as a non-degree student is granted by the MAOL program director.
