The Leadership Institute partners with many businesses, government, and non-profit organizations to bring high-level and high profile women leaders to St Kate's.  We offer 6 leadership development events throughout the year.  These events are open to the public.

Our professional development programs and events listed below are designed for professionals from corporate, small business, government, education and nonprofit settings.

The Summer Leadership Series returns with six outstanding leadership development seminars. Each session is a stand-alone learning experience; all are connected by their focus on core leadership competencies.

Our Northern Stars

Our Northern Stars is a Leadership Breakfast Series that showcases women leaders in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota area. They are women making a difference - they are leaders within our midst. Their stories of authentic leadership inspire and teach us to become more effective leaders ourselves.

Fall 2015

  • St. Catherine University Leadership Institute also offers a wide variety of classes to help you become an effective, ethical and influential leader.
  • Our participants, reflect diverse backgrounds and perspectives, share an interest in ethical leadership that has a positive, lasting impact on people, organizations, and communities.

Leaders of the New Millennium brings together women to build on their leadership competencies and enhance their leadership voice in their workplace, community and personal lives. Available for Graduate or certificate credit.

Leaders of the New Millennium For Latinas

Thank you for your interest in the Leaders of the New Millennium for Latinas program.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be combining this Latinas cohort with the Leaders of the New Millennium class that starts March 20.

Leaders of the New Millennium (LNM) for Latinas, brings together Latina women to build on their leadership competencies and enhance their leadership voice in their workplace, community and personal lives. Available for Graduate or certificate credit.

Navigating Team Leadership, Fall 2015

This program is designed for those that want to expand their skills in solidifying leadership   credibility and communication, successfully executing project-based work, increasing global capability, achieving results through collaboration, and courageously leading a team.

Leadership Perspectives for Wells Fargo Team Members, Fall 2015

A customized course for Wells Fargo team members. The course examines your relationships and involvement in your organization. From there we explore strategies on how to make deliberate and meaningful contributions at any career stage.


    Our programs and events are available for course credit and/ or a continuing education certificate (CEUs).  Availability will be outlined for the events on each respective webpage. We market our leadership programs to women; everyone is welcome to attend.
