Course Description: This workshop, designed for both PTs and PTAs, presents best practice strategies for PT/PTA interaction, reviews the various regulations that govern utilization of the PTA; and discusses the responsibilities of both parties to ensure that the PT/PTA team functions effectively, ethically and in the patient’s best interest.
 
Course Format: Lecture, group discussion, classroom activities. Participants will utilize the textbook, The Role of the Physical Therapist Assistant: Regulations and Responsibilities (included in registration fee) throughout the course.
