Multicultural and International Programs and Services

The Multicultural and International Programs and Services, also known as MIPS, welcomes you! Our goal is to help create a warm and inclusive climate for students of color on both of the campuses.

As a Multicultural and/or International student, you will benefit from programs, services, activities, and scholarship help designed specifically to help you get the most out of your St. Kate's experience - and your future.

The MIPS Office is dedicated to your needs. We know that students of different countries, cultures, and ethnic origins enhance St. Kate's community and the educational experience of all students. We know that diversity in all its forms leads to understanding and appreciation and makes for a richer learning environment. We also know that sometimes you might have special challenges or interests, and we are dedicated to helping you meet them and succeed.

We provide college-wide educational support on diversity and cultural initiatives and advocate on behalf of international, domestic, immigrant and refugee students of color within the University. MIPS provides time, space, and resources to students of color so that we can create a nurturing, expressive, and supportive environment.
