3M Collaborative Research Grants
3M Student-Faculty Collaborative Grants provide opportunities for student-faculty collaborative research in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). These grants help students develop laboratory and leadership skills for graduate school and professional careers, and help faculty advance their research or pilot new projects.
Funding up to $2000, with $1000 devoted to the student researcher, $500 devoted to the faculty mentor and $500 set aside for supplies. Additional funds (not to exceed $100) may be available to cover the costs of preparation of posters and related presentation materials for Science @ St. Kate’s Day.
Funding up to $25,000. Even larger awards are possible for projects that are broader in scope or are interdisciplinary. Click here for program requirements.
