St. Catherine University participates in a recycling program. Please place all recyclable items in the appropriate bins located throughout the building. Additional information about recycling is posted in your building.

Please conserve heat, light, electrical energy and water whenever possible. Windows should be kept shut when the heat or air conditioning is on. Both storm and inside windows should be shut when a room is unoccupied. Incandescent lights should always be turned off if not needed. Fluorescent lights should be left on if the space will be occupied within a half hour. If the space will be vacant for a half-hour or more, turn the lights off. It costs more to turn on a fluorescent light than to leave it on for 30 minutes.
