How to Sign Up
Signing up for housing is easy and convenient. We even offer options for finding your roommate(s) and selecting your living space online.
Step 1: Complete Housing and Dining Agreement
Completing your Housing & Dining Agreement is the first step to living on campus. The agreement is an online form accessible through the My Housing portal. My Housing is where you'll complete your agreement/application, select your living space and view other important housing information. The priority deadline for submitting your Housing & Dining Agreement is June 1.
We encourage you to view the online video tutorial titled, Completing Your Housing & Dining Agreement. This quick video will introduce you to My Housing and walk you through the Housing & Dining Agreement process. Then you'll be ready to complete your agreement.

Step 2: Submit your Housing Advance (New Students Only)
Please mail your $100 Housing Advance, payable to St. Catherine University. Please include your St. Kate's ID number on your check. Checks can be mailed to Office of Admission at 2004 Randolph Ave. (Box #F-02), St. Paul, MN 55105 or you can include this amount in your tuition deposit.
Step Three: Find a Roommate (Optional)
Roommate Finder is a secure, online way for you to meet and communicate with other new St. Kate's students. Roommate Finder is available until June 1. Access Roommate Finder »
Step Four: Select Your Room (Optional)
Around the first week of June first-year students who have completed the Housing & Dining Agreement and submitted their Housing Deposit may select housing and pull in their roommate(s) online. Additional information about room selection will be emailed to you in late May.
Choosing roommate(s) and a room is optional. After the first week of June, Residence Life staff will use responses to the Roommate Matching questions and building preferences choices to make roommate and housing assignments. Many new students are matched and assigned this way. All transfer students will be assigned by Residence Life to ensure you get into upper-class housing.
Step Five: Check Your Mail and St. Kate's Email
Housing, roommate and meal plan assignments will be available to view in My Housing in early July. In early July, Residence Life will mail a postcard to the address you have on-file with the University. This postcard will let you know that your housing information is ready for viewing in My Housing. Please read the entire postcard which includes important move-in information. This is the only notification Residence Life will send about your assignment.
