Disability Accommodations for Resident Students

It is our goal to ensure all students are provided the opportunity to participate fully in the residential experience at St. Catherine University. Students requesting disability accommodations for a specific medical condition or disability, will work with Disability Resources staff. Documentation in support of the requested accommodations should be first directed to the Disabilities Resources office in the O'Neil Center at St. Kate's. Disability Resources staff will then partner with Residence Life to find the best housing solutions for each student.

Process

Please have your medical provider complete the Disability Accommodations Request Form and return it to Disability Resources by March 9 for current students and May 15 for new students. We cannot guaranteed preferred space outside of these deadlines.

Completed forms must be submitted on provider's official letterhead. Please send your form to the following office:

St. Catherine University, Disability Resources
Mail Station #4152
2004 Randolph Ave
St. Paul, MN 55105

Fax #: 651.690.6718

Current Students

If you are a current student and you already have a Disability Accommodations Request Form on file with the Residence Life Office, you do not need to complete another form for subsequent/future years until, unless your needs have changed. Current students whose requests have been approved will be contacted in March and early April to select specific accommodations before general room selection.
