Transfer Credits to St. Kate's
in the RN-BS Degree Completion at St. Kate's, you'll begin by transferring in as many as 100 credits from your associate nursing degree and additional college credits you may have earned, consisting of:
- Up to 70 credits from your Associate of Science (A.S.) in nursing
- Additional college credits you may have earned
From the above, you may transfer in as many as 100 credits – a minimum of 30 credits in residency must be earned to complete the RN-BS Degree Completion program. Credits from regionally accredited colleges or universities, for courses with a grade of C- or higher, will be considered for transfer.
You may have earned additional credits beyond your A.S. in Nursing degree. Or you may be wondering if courses you've taken will meet specific liberal arts requirements for the RN-BS Degree Completion option.
Contact your admission counselor for a preliminary evaluation of your transfer credits. Give her copies of your transcripts and she'll let you know, via e-mail within a week, how close you may be to your bachelor's degree. You'll get an official transfer evaluation after you are accepted.
